vision
for myself
and fellow
poetic humans
My purpose is to help men rediscover their true purpose in life, to honor their God-given gifts, to embrace their miraculous design, and to live a truer and more accurate definition of being a gentleman in community, and in global society — to be a poetic human.
I resolve to be an ever-learning servant leader and principled influencer in male leadership circles.
I develop compelling in-person and online educational curricula and workshops based on the foundational tenets of leadership, masculinity, vulnerability, and love. By building trust, genuine relationships, and innovative programs, I believe we can unify the voices of discontent and rally together, men and women, to be a voice for “humanity.”
Today, I stand on the shoulders and backs of courageous forerunners who blazed pathways for me to run on. And I intend to glean every bit of wisdom and strength from them, so their sacrifices are not in vain. I endeavor through earnest and ardent effort, and undaunted perseverance so that I will one day be able to lead and carry the dreams and callings of others as well.
In fact, I expect my ceiling to be their floor — your floor.
More than ever, we need hope. And truth be told, hope abounds. It’s just been bestrewn by outdated (if not obsolete) thinking, abdicated hearts, and relinquished dreams. My purpose is to inspire fresh and thoughtful ideas and conversations, deliver fresh and innovative tools, resources, and curricula, ignite the fire of passion in people’s souls, and help my brothers and sisters around the world to dream again.
To quote Robert F. Kennedy, “Few will have the greatness to bend history itself, but each of us can work to change a small portion of events. It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope — and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples, build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.”
It. Is. Time.
It is your time.
It is our time.
And it is for 1,000 generations to come.
Let’s do this. Together.
